moves like jagger...

...or like someone!!!  Kash is really into dancing these days.  Anytime there is dancing, he's all about it! Last night he said to me, "here mom hold my milk I need to dance!"  And it seems to bring the ladies around as well.  Yesterday he had a few 2 year old babes watching him after church as he busted a move in the cultural hall.

He also got his grove on this past weekend at our church fair.  I actually missed some of his best moves by the time I got the camera out but this is still entertaining enough.

Dance White Boy Dance!

You can somewhat see his signature move at the beginning where he crouches down, does some head banging and makes a face like he's at an ICP concert!  All I'll say is he doesn't get his dance moves from me...

haunted house

This picture isn't the best quality, it was starting to get dark.  But maybe it is haunted? See the orb??
"Hey Mister is your house scary?"  This is what one of the neighborhood kids asked Blaine tonight as we were getting ready to go on a walk.  Blaine obviously said no, but the kid wasn't buying it.  He told us, "everyone in the neighborhood thinks it's haunted and the girl in 3859 (house across the street) and I looked in the window once and it was scary!!"

It would have been nice to know our house was haunted 4 months ago!!!  I was banking on this house to finally produce some trick-or-treaters, but doubt anyone is going to go to the "creepy" house for some free candy. Great.

I told the kid he should be scared because we were actually witches.  He believed me!  And then after the damage I had done I tried to convince him that it wasn't scary and told him to go look in the window, he refused!  That's how scared this crazy kid was, he said he'd probably see a ghost with a gun! What?  Weirdo!  I finally talked him into looking in the window and on his way up to the house he jumped as a tree branch blew in the wind! hahaha  I couldn't even handle it I laughed right in his face!

He then randomly rode off on his bike mid conversation and I'm sure any neighborhood rumors just got a whole lot worse after this kid's experience tonight.

Luckily we haven't had any hauntings, the only thing scary about this house is how that lawn is looking!  But I do have to say Blaine has been working really hard on it and it's looking a lot better!

move over molly mormon and peter priesthood...there's a whole new generation of mormons in the ward!

A whole new generation that loves to laugh at their own religion...and then blog about it!Have you seen the blog Why Mormon Girls Are Single yet? If not you better check it out right now. Hilarious! Hilarious because it's all true! Similar to this blog that pokes fun at the idiosyncrasies of our religion (and how ridiculous some people are about blogging). This blogger isn't scared to tell how Mormon girls really are and I'm loving every minute of it...but that's probably because I'm married now. And while I can relate to some of the things he writes about I totally validate it by reminding myself that I am married and none of my embarrassing dating moments count anymore!

Funny thing is the annonyms blogger actually has some sound advice. Now only if LDS girls (and guys might I add) would actually take things like this somewhat serious...

oh that's it...i'm so writing her a note!!!

I found this hilarious note on Apartment Therapy. While they were trying to come up with ways to deal with awkward roommate situations, I just laughed. This note takes me back to the awesome roommate days of mean notes, people drawing a line on their milk so they could tell if someone drank any, the battle of the thermostat, dealing with annoying boyfriends (none of which were mine of course)...and many more situations.

There were more good times than bad (with most of the roomies), but it is funny to look back at how silly most of the confrontations were. We thought we were soooo mature by leaving a nasty (passive-aggressive) note like:

Girls,
Please do your dishes on your day. I do not appreciate doing them every night!
Love,
"roommate"

Really you love me, are you sure? I admit I was totally the horrible roommate that didn't do my dishes, stole their milk and hated their boyfriends! What I'm an only child and hated going to the grocery store, really it's to be expected!

Luckily most of the girls I lived with while attending Utah State looked past my faults and are still my best friends in the whole wide world.
What are your crazy/funny college roommate stories?
