bliggity blog makeover

It seems about once a year I get the itch to freshen up this little blog of mine.  Even more so since I've been doing contract work for The Cutest Blog on the Block the last few months.  I kept updating all these customer's blogs, then would head over to Team Turnbow and always feel like I could tweak a few things.  I still need to add a few more elements but this is a start.

Unfortunately, this little makeover resulted in me losing all of my friend's/private blogs that I had on my sidebar!!!  If you've left a comment in the last few posts I was able to add your blog again.  But there are still a lot I'm missing.  So if you are reading this please post your blog in the comments section so I can add you back!  This is the easiest way for me to follow my friend's blogs (private or not).  And you know I love stalking you through your blogs!

And if you are looking for a custom blog design, let me know!!!

featured!

UPDATE: This Dwell Studio Bedding is now for sale.  Check out the post here.

Design Dazzle
So, I'm pretty pumped that Kash's room has been featured by Design Dazzle, a design blog. Go check it out!

I've actually been following this blog, ironically, to get ideas for Kash's room ever since I found out I was pregnant over two years ago so I thought it was pretty cool that Toni asked me if she could feature this room.

Live it up little nursery because soon you will turn into a big boy room!

move over molly mormon and peter priesthood...there's a whole new generation of mormons in the ward!

A whole new generation that loves to laugh at their own religion...and then blog about it!Have you seen the blog Why Mormon Girls Are Single yet? If not you better check it out right now. Hilarious! Hilarious because it's all true! Similar to this blog that pokes fun at the idiosyncrasies of our religion (and how ridiculous some people are about blogging). This blogger isn't scared to tell how Mormon girls really are and I'm loving every minute of it...but that's probably because I'm married now. And while I can relate to some of the things he writes about I totally validate it by reminding myself that I am married and none of my embarrassing dating moments count anymore!

Funny thing is the annonyms blogger actually has some sound advice. Now only if LDS girls (and guys might I add) would actually take things like this somewhat serious...
